Just bought a copy of a new magazine CD-ROM Review. In an article by Bob
Ryan, Technical Editor of Amiga World he says that according to William
Paisley EVP of Knowledge Access Inc., database suppliers are unlikely to
bother putting their products on the MAC, Amiga and Atari ST. He quotes
Paisley as saying "These are basically consumer machines, while the databases
are meant primarily for business users".
Tunnel vision in a businessman brainwashed by IBM is one thing, but in the
technical editor of a magazine devoted (hah!) to the Amiga, it is
inexcusable. I've been thinking about not bothering with it any more, and
this may be just the thing that makes my mind up.
