I'm looking for a way to drive my MIDI interface from Amigabasic. I need to
ope [a file and output to the the interface through the serial port. My
problem is that I can't figure out how to open the port for output. The
manual is cryptic atat best. Even the example program line in chapter five
doesn't work. If someo cocould show me a few lines of sample code to open a
file from Amigabasic to CO COM1: I can probably figure out the rest. If
anyone has any experience with out outputting to MIDI from basic I'd like to
hear how they do it. THanks in advance——Phil
