John, we now have the BC Place stadium running animations done on an Amiga.
We used totally custom software due to speed considerations (They normally
have about 2-5 seconds to load and be ready to play – And most programs out
there take a bit longer than that).
It is on an 18×40 foot screen consisting of about 80,000 CRT clusters of
42 millimeter CRT's (2 Blue, 1 Green, 1 Red).
