When I talk about this, I _mean_ windows, not screens. The word "screen" keeps popping up because that's what it's called on the Impossibly Badlydesigned Machine. We're talking text consoles, period. That means an evironment for _every_ window that has a console. If you don't want a console, you can simply use thge Text() calls and build your own capabilities. The review buffer in CoComm is a good example. It doesn't use the console, because the console is such a slug. It uses Text() and an internally maintained text arrary. Very simple… but it works. –Ben–

Ben, I guess I didn't make it clear when I expanded my discussion to include the capability to print any screen or window that was currently displayed by the Amiga. That's what I'm talking about. Don

Well, not me. I only want to see a print window, as far as text printing goes. We already have a print screen. –Ben–
