I am trying to import a template into Animation Master. I haven't found any information which file format is appropriate. I've tried BMP, PCX, TIF, etc. Nothing worked except TGA. But the image appears distorted. Can you help? I use Anim. Master on a Windows platform. Regards, Robert

Try not to skew or rotate scanned images… I've had problems after rotating scans, etc… Grady III

I forget who said this, but I heard it here<g> For using templates, use a picture thats' resolution (in pixels) is divisible by 4 in width and height (i.e. 320×240 or 40×280) I've used this little "formula" and never had any problems with templates 🙂 -Mike Johnson

In the spirit of helping, let me interject… Page 304 of the manual lists the files that can be imported…I don't know why PCX wouldn't work for you. Is your distortion you're talking about color? If it is, you could've inadvertently changed the color depth in your image when converting files. I did that once in PaintShopPro…changed a 24-bit JPEG to an 8-bit Targa…'ya ever see blue people?…I did when I brought it into A:M…then I discovered what I had done! I hadn't paid close attention to the option box in PSP and selected a previously used low setting. Kevin
