Hi,
is there a chance that the effects like lense flare or DOF are chagned in a
way that they are not affected by the resolution of the image? Also since it's
post process it would be possible to do the post process only so one could try
with the parameters a little without having to re-render the whole image (at
full resolution!) each time only to change some flare settings.

Doesn't make any sense to be able to do that for anything but Lenseflare, as
the other POST F/X work on rendered imagery. Why don't you just create a dummy
frame with just the light objects in it?
