Jinny and George, Generally the .000 extension is a failed DL..It's the format that the CIM programs use to prepare your system for the file tobe downloaded..It changes the filename after the DL is finished. He should use Compuserve B+ protocol and resume the DL from where it left off, leaving the .000 intact…If he can't resume, he should GO FEEDBACK and request a credit for the time. 99% of the time the .000 file is 0 length. >> 99% of the time the .000 file is 0 length. << Bruce: that is very interesting… thanks for letting me know… my sister and others using another board often send file to each other, (email) and they ALWAYS come this way… most of us use NavCis… so maybe we need to check the parameters/setups so we don't have this problem… Jinny BTW, I am VERY familiar with the black screen of death! }:<

LMAO…I just installed a set of Viper drivers and have TBSOD now…I have to go back to VGA and reinstall the last set. Bummer. The CIM programs set the pre DL file to .000 and change it to the proper extension with a complete DL. Most new users don't click Library and then click DL all Marked…They see the program exit after the 1st DL and think they have them all..In reality only the first is there complete… Bruce
