Hi. Ok, I have a question. I drew an object, really just a rough outline of a computer. When I first rendered it, I placed a blue plastic material on it, and it looked pretty darn good… (I rendered the backface of the object so it was solid.) Now, using the same object, I placed it over a cloud background, and somehow, I made this object transparent, .. now I KNOW this is probably easy for all of YOU, but how did I do that? I'm thinking that part of it, is because of the lighting… any comments or guesses? BTW, both images look great… Jinny

Hi Jinny: Transparency is a material attribute. Load the blue plastic material into the Material Designer and look at the General Opacity setting. Any value less than 1.0 is less than opaque. Hope this helps, Nick Josephs Visual Software
