Hi. Ok, I have a question. I drew an object, really just a rough outline
of a computer. When I first rendered it, I placed a blue plastic material
on it, and it looked pretty darn good… (I rendered the backface
of the object so it was solid.)
Now, using the same object, I placed it over a cloud background, and somehow,
I made this object transparent, .. now I KNOW this is probably easy for all
of YOU, but how did I do that? I'm thinking that part of it, is because of
the lighting… any comments or guesses?
BTW, both images look great…

Hi Jinny:
Transparency is a material attribute. Load the blue plastic material into the
Material Designer and look at the General Opacity setting. Any value less than
1.0 is less than opaque.
