Nick,
I too am suffering from install problems. The setup will proceed to the point
of opening the Simply3d Group window. The icons for Renderize Live, Visual
Font, Visual Player, Media Player and Animator will be shown but the system
will corrupt my screen display and freeze the system to the point that a reset
is all that will allow me to continue. I have made my system as "Plain
Vanilla" as possible according to your instructions in the documentation, there
is NO 32 bit file or disk access, and I have even tried using the windows
supplied drivers for the display. There are no Demo icons displayed. Has the
install completed with the exception of these Demo Icons? The other apps seem
to work but I would like to be able to run the Demos. I have attempted the
install 4 times with various and sundry configurations but nothing has worked.
What now?

It is possible that the media is bad. Do a visual inspection on the business
end of the CD to look for smudges, gunk, etc and try to remove it, then
re-perform the install. If that doesn't help, contact our marketing office at
(800) 669-7318 for a replacement CD.
