Nick, I just upgraded from S-3D to visual reality. In the about window of renderize live I receive the following message: Ver 3.1 Mon, Jul 11, 1994 Well, you are now talking about Ver 1.5 being out in Feb…. do you think that maybe renderize is reporting the windows version instead of its own? Or is this some kind of bug? P.S. How do I find out what version It really is?

You currently own Renderize Live version 3.1. Visual Reality represents the name of the product suite. Thus, for example, Visual Reality 1.5 will include, among other things, Renderize Live 3.2.

What will be added to visual reailty 1.5? Do you think that I'll get a free upgrade since I just purchased visual reality?

Visual Reality 1.5 is a maintanence upgrade with bug fixes and some limited functionality enhancements for all applications. Visual Model saw the most improvement, emilinating all of those display and redraw issues that made the software look uglier than it actually was; Visual Image has minor changes; Visual Font also has minor changes, notably the ability to work with the extended ASCII character set; Renderize Live now imports AI and WMF files from 2D packages. Visual Reality 1.5 is available free of charge to all registered Visual Reality users. So send in your registration cards!

Nick, How do I check to see if I am registered? Thanks

If you sent in your registration card, you're registered. I looked you up in the database but we have several possible matches. If you'd like you can send me more detailed info (company name, City and State, whatever) and I can check for you. Nick Josephs Visual Software

Yes, Jim you are in the database, and as a registered Visual Reality user you'll receive the Visual Reality 1.5 upgrade automatically. Ah, the advantages of sending in that registration card… Nick Josephs Visual Software
