Received the CD Demo and brochures for the Visual Reality suite, which has helped me narrow down my search to your product and Caligari's trueSpace. However, I've had the following problems with the demo which make me curious… 1) Initially the installation created an icon with properties to load the program with an argument of f:\vsoft\ (f being my CD-ROM) which caused playback to fail everytime. A little investigation (I used to do IconAuthor development) and I realised the install SHOULD have given e:\vsoft\vsoft.iw – something that probably should be fixed 🙂 2) I'm gathering y'all are using the SoundSync function. Since I am on a single-speed CD-ROM (to be replaced within the next month), this means that the sound tends to break up – A LOT. I tried reducing my pallette to 256 color, and making sure that I have a 2 meg buffer on the CD, but to no avail. Any other suggestions? 3) Related to 2, if I had the full product, would I experience problems with my current single-speed CD? Will a Double-speed be fast enough? The Visual Reality product is an application. The CD demo is not the same code, and it is a sight and sound presentation. In other words, no the problems that the demo has on your system would not appear when using the software. Nick Josephs Visual Software
