PCMCIA Video Caputre bd

I've seen a PCMCIA video capture card advertised in several PC magazines.
Beyond that I don't know anything about it. As an aside, does anyone have any
idea when notebook makers will start to incorporate higher end graphics/video
as an option (other than the Toshiba)? Speaking of the Toshiba, is video
support built in or does it use an add-on card? I seem to recall it using the
Mambo (sic?). The reason I ask, is I am interested in modifying an old NEC
laptop w. SINGLE EISA slot by adding the Mambo. Is it possible to do this?
How would you deliver the video to to screen, since (I assume) the graphics is
built into the motherboard? Or is the Toshiba customized for this? Forgive my
ignorance if this is a ridiculous question, as I'm not a techie. Also, does
anyone have any info on the Mambo (sic again) card?

I think we've talked before, because I seem to remember the question about
adapting th Mambo card to another computer. We manufacture the Mambo card,
which is designed specifically for the Toshiba T6600 and T6400 computers. They
are unique in that they designed in a port to their LCD panel, which allows
video to go directly to the screen. No ISA bottleneck. I wouldn't want to try
to customize it; it's a formidable task. I'd be glad to send you info on the
Mambo and DVI in general.
