The Newt from Hell seems to be backpedaling on CPB and PBS–seems he discovered, much to his shock, how many of the "money" folks in his own party watched (or took advantage of the services of) PBS, and had no more desire for tincupping than the rest of us. Of course, that doesn't mean he won't flog *that* particular horse for the pinhead vote next time he thinks he can get away w/it… And no, I *don't* wish to start a political argument here… Tim
