Please help!!!!! I just picked up a new P90 with 32Megs and an ATI64 with 4Meg VRAM… The ATI drivers for 3DS are to say the list, pathetic… It takes approx. 1 min. to boot up 3DS… Furthermore, it takes just as long to switch between modules… And if that is not enough, when I go out of 3DS (or AutoCAD) I can't get into Windows…It just hangs. ATI has no help for me and sees no solution in the near future…. I decided to get another graphic card…any suggestions… How are the Stealth cards and drivers??? How about Number 9 cards??? For further info. I have a GBT motherboard with the Intel chipset, 512K cache, Award bios, 1Gig Seagate drive Please help.

Hi Clemente, << ATI blues..>> Maybe the following file will help you? … File Info for ANTIVE.ZIP Section: HWare/OpSys/Video Contributor: 70673,1605 Size: 2689 Submitted: 9/19/94 Type: Binary Accesses: 177 Title: The ATI Mach64 Antivesa driver. Keys: GUS ATI VESA ETERNITY BUGSGALORE DONTBUGME This is a simple minded TSR I wrote to work around a very anoying delay when booting 3D Studio while using the ATI Mach64 (PCI). It simply disables VESA all together (VESA no longer exists after you load it). Source is included and read it and docs before using. Use at your own risk. Gus [download time at 2400 baud: 1 min]
