#Fli Player
3 messages in this thread
I'd like to play a flc in MS powerpoint 4.0 and have some questions.
1. Can I do it?
2. Can it play without the border and title bar?
3. Is there any way to convert a flc file to either quicktime or AVI format?
Thanks
Mike
Hi Mike,
<< Powerpoint and flics…>>
I do not have any experience in this matter. You may wish to start a dialog
with Brian Rudolph[adesk] 71722,170, who may be able to help you.
I found the following file in the lib that demonstrates….

Title: Ani Pro/Powerpoint Combined for Presentations
Keys: SPEAKER SUPPORT MULTIMEDIA SLIDES POWERPOINT ANIMATION
First of two files (DEMO2.ZIP is the other) containing a demo that shows the
power
of combining Animator Pro with Powerpoint templates for speaker support or
multimedia presentations. Requires nine mbytes free disk space, three mbytes
RAM,
and SVGA graphics card. Unzip DEMO1 and DEMO2 separately in C:\MXA and read
README.TXT for installation instructions, including how to install on drives

There is another doc to check out, about how to play a flic in Powerpoint,
FLICIN.TXT.
There are issues about playing without the border and title bar which may mean
you have to go into AVI format. There are convertors (Splice, InSynch,
Videdit) which can take a Flic -> AVI. Soon, when AAStudio is released, you
can use that!
