#Gradient Designer
6 messages in this thread
Gus, I would like to introduce myself my name is Richard Enriquez and
I'm the Product Manager for Gradiet Desinger FX 1.0. I thought you
might want some feedback on what's been going on with respect to
Gradient Designer. Eveybody who's seen the Time based Controls and
UI, loves it. I spent a good hour speaking with dealers and
end-users about it's capabilities and possibilities. Everybody I
spoke with today will buy it within the next few weeks. I feel
Autodesk is going to owe us because everybody I spoke with had R3 and
after I told them they needed R4 to use Gradient Designer they said
they would upgrade.
I have to go, drop me a line or give me a call at 805.566.6244. I will
be in Canada next week showing the product at an event with Autodesk
and DPS. Keep in touch.
Richard, I think it's important for you and Jim to put some demo
images and flics together that show off GD and upload them here to
the forum. Size is going to be a problem (since gradients, by
nature, don't compress well and make huge flics), but some simple
examples of gradients used as texture map masks and alpha mattes (in
particular) would help to enlighten everyone.
Good to here about NT. I am using it now and do not miss DOS at all.
I have uploaded two Images that I did with the Gradient Designer.
Please look for "KPT IPAZ animated effect" gr-skel.jpg and "Robot
with Kai's Gradient Designer" gr-robo.jpg LIB#5 This should get the
ball rolling <g>

I'll go grab them as soon as they're merged, Brandon. Thanks for uploading
them.

It really helpes me in making decisions about purchasing IPAS routines if I can
play with a disabled demo . I bought Bones Pro after working with the demo for
a few minutes. I hope you folks will consider uploading a demo
Thanks
