Am having fun using the new Bones Pro but would like to suggest a few things. First is the scroll bar in the interface, it would be nice if this scroll bar was more robust. Usually you scroll while watching the window but if (more like when) you go outside the scroll bar area you loose the scroll. Second would be the ability to deselect vertices of the mesh that you wish to NOT be effected by bones. I was having problems with a coat I created that I wanted to use Bones on just to animate the arms. I had alot of difficulty having the arm bones not effect the rest of the coat.

Hi Ralph, Thanks for the suggestions about Bones Pro. Look for a 1.5 release this spring. Keep those suggestions coming. David – Digimation

Seems that Phong or Gouraud would be the preferred choice, although I do like the wire shadeing option to visualize vertice influence. What will the 1.5 upgrade policy be to current registered users? Ralph

Hi Ralph, One of the features for Bones Pro 1.5 is a smooth shaded interface (along with Smooth) The upgrade policy has yet to be determined. It will depend on how many features get shoved in. Of course it will be cheap. David – Digimation

Hi Dave! Bones is great still trying to master it. What ever happened to the Bones IPAS that is pictured in your catalog by Tom Hudson, just curious. Will Mendez PMI
