for the suggestion. you're correct in thinking that it's pretty much
what i attempted to do. i rendered the letters to be cut out in the
front view, went into photoshop and hand-fattened all the edges not
yet cut out. by and large, it worked fairly well although like any
old animating fool, i could have spent days doing it over and over
until it was perfect….but then i remember, it's just television!!
