This is a pure guess…but if the expansion slots come on a card
themselves…sounds like they MAY offer various card configurations. But
that still probably won't overcome the total number of slots limitation.
I thought of that. According to the people I spoke to the card is verticle
to the motherboard (forms a upside down T). Cards plugged into this
expansion board are parallel to the motherboard. The problem with adding
more slots or a bigger expansion card is that it would go beyond the roof
of the machine. They could redesign the case and make it taller, but my
source tells me that since the video slot must be the last slot in the
chain, adding annother Amiga/IBM slot before it could increase signal
interferiance.
