big problem: the amiga's UART isn't capable of split speeds – the prestel thing needs 1200 baud receive and 75 baud xmit, but the amiga can only rcv/xmt at one speed. even if you found a vidtex program, you wouldn't be able to get the amiga talking to the host. –Scotty \

Ok, I wasn't sure on that one. I thought that although the modem talked at 1200/75 over the phone lines, it talked to the computer at 1200.
