Mike, DesignText is co-written by me, and will be produced and marketed by DesignTech Business Systems Inc of Vancouver, BC. What it does, let me upload the standard features list… (This does not include the NORMAL features like scrolling, multiple windows, etc). WYSIWYG, Decimal tabs, Multiple Fonts (Defined for best output on the printer), math functions, definable phrases, spellchecker (10K and 90K words), Type'n Spell, Outline Editor, Import IFF Brushed, Clip ANY graphic from ANY screen with our included CLIPPER utility, Index and Table of Contents generation, Background printing, Special printer drivers (In addition to preferences drivers), Auto-Save (Saves after x minutes automatically), Import TCraft and Scribble and ASCII files, Export FORMATTED ASCII files, Help Files, Sorting, Mail Merge, FULL Mail-List program included, Password protection on files, and a lot of other features. Attributes, fonts, margins and justification (AND Graphics) all shown ON SCREEN using our own output routines for speed. Just about everything is definable (Colors, sizes, Interlace or Normal, gadget placment, insert or overstrike mode, memory usage, etc). Darron, yes, DesignText does support Footnoting.
