It will be very helpful if ER support some kind of Lasso command( or magic wand) which defines the outline of a picture precisely for us, then we can modify it for the shape that we need. Will this be in ER someday soon? Mei-Tien

Mei-Tien, A magic wand is often difficult to master. Just ask Mickey Mouse 🙂 We are none-the-less looking at this and other techniques for making shape creation even easier. I don't have more info on this but I do know the R&D guys are hard at work on something. Jason I had a magic wand once, but my kindergarten teacher took it away 🙁

Jason, would a magic wand work with ER? 'Cos you are vector based and I've only seen wands in pixel based programs like Photoshop! In ER you are surely putting vector lines ontop of the picture so as to manipulate it rather than actually selecting a few pixels to make a change to? Ken

Ken, True, we're vector based. I don't know the details, but presumably our programmers do. After all, they make the BIG bucks 🙂 Jason Makes little tiny bucks
