not into the Mac market at all, but I have heard of one or two products — MAC
3D and EASY-3D/PRO-3D. Don't know anything about their relative popularity,
though!

Load a text file into an AutoCAD drawing. CadWrite will create a DXF file
which can be loaded into your drawing. Only pure text files are currently
supported but, the next version will read WordStar files. Also included is
an AutoLISP file which calls the program from inside AutoCad and will
insert your text. Documentation is included in the arc file.
