Chuck, I've got db_FILE & db_RETRIEVE (used to be db_VISTA II until III was released). I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't done much more than expand slightly on their examples. I'm about to undertake a small project which will use more of their capabilities, however. Your msg didn't indicate if you were interested for evaluation purposes or if you were looking for help. If your looking for evaluations then I can tell you that I compared several potential packages before I bought from Raima. db_VISTA et. al. was the best performing package (speed & reliability) that I looked at. The learning curve is a bit tougher since one really needs to become familiar with Network Model Data Bases with sets, members etc. Multi-user versions are incredibly reliable! If you need help I can recommend Raima's BBS. They just changed to new BBS s/w with the new decade so message traffic is light. But you can d/l some app notes which are pretty informative. Good Luck!
