I need help with a Practical Perpherals 144t modem and the multiface II card.
The modem will connect throught the card, but after the connect keword is
passed, nothing else happens. for example, when connecting to Cserve, it
connects and then the Host prompt never appears. I have tried this with a
couple different BBS and the same thing happens. It happens with Autopilot and
Jr'Comm I have tried different baud rates and changing my Xon/Xoff parameter,
but there was no change. I have tried themodem on an A100 and it does work.
Any suggestions?

Get rid of the XON/XOFF and either set it to NONE or to CTS/RTS.
Also, you say you tried it with an A1000…you're not using the same
modem cable are you? IF so…that could be a problem, the A1000 has a
different serial port than the rest of the Amiga line.

Don, thanks for the advice, I'll give those changes a try. I sure hope they
work! I played around with just about every setting I could think of trying to
get it to work on the A2000. I do have two sets of cables, too. Gary
