#DataStore Support?

Mike,
Are you handling tech support for DataStore? I ask because I mine won't
load (I've just installed and get error 10000008 from memory[my memory that
is!:]). There was a CIS address in the manual but so far no response.
I have a lot more details but I didn't want to burden you with them if you're
not handling it. Otherwise I could Facs them I suppose.

We're only handling Datastore tech support for our customers here in North
America. We have a license to sell and support the program in the US and
Canada. Digita either sells direct in other countries or has local licensees.
I'm not sure who sells it in Australia.
Digita doesn't check their CompuServe mailbox daily, so expect some delay.
If you have simple questions, we'll answer them for you here as a courtesy of
course.
Installation problem: we have three customers with the same problem. I'm having
trouble tracking it down. Since you're online and know what you're doing (as
opposed to the others who have had this program who are offline and don't know
what they're doing) (that's not entirely true, there's one other CIS user here
who is knowledgeable and who has been working with me patiently to solve this),
maybe you can help find the problem.
I've installed the program on every machine we have with every combination of
AmigaDOS and it works fine. Therefore, while it could still be a bug in the
program, it's probably system related. So far we've had the people with the
program try disabling all startup utilities with no success.
I'm collecting system info from each person to search for commonalities. What
screen mode are you starting it up in? What version of AmigaDOS? What computer
model? How much ram? Any other relevant info you want to provide would be
appreciated.
