Is there some kind of box that converts NTSC video to display on a VGA or SVGA monitor. I know that there are boxes for VGA -> NTSC, howcome I can't find the reverse? Thanks, –cg

Curt, I believe that what you want is commonly called a "Video Overlay Card". A lot of the "Video Capture Cards" on the market offer an "overlay" feature. Some, like the FAST Movie Machine even have TV-Tuners built in. -John

What I really need, I'm afraid, is a stand-alone box… Any leads? Thanks!

Are you aware of the Digital Vision TelevEyes and TelevEyes/Pro? I tried out the TelevEyes/Pro, and it was pretty decent for the $650 price. And the TelevEyes (not PRO in model name) is less than half that amount, but I haven't tried that one. Digital Vision: 270 Bridge St. Dedham MA 02026 (617)329-5400 or 800-346-0090; FAX:617-329-6286 You might give them a call, and ask for literature. They have a nice BBS, too, 617-329-8387. 9600 baud (8N1) Barry
