$1000 & A1000 gives you a 2000 starting next week is no rumor, it IS the
A1000 users LAST chance starting next week, according to my C= sales rep.
We'll be filled in on all the gory details next week, as well as some new
Amiga bundles but the story so far is the keyboards will have to be turned
in as well as the serial numbers. The main reason given was that C= could
no longer matain Kickstart compatabilty past 1.4 (and that was iffy too).
But I have an EXTRA 1000 keyboard, heh, heh. I wonder if I can do a trade
in through the local base exchange (they sell 2000's, so they must be
authorized). They have decent prices on 2000's, so if the deal is a
thousand dollar credit plus the rest in cash, I might make out OK.
