I have the exact same problem w/ my system. I've had my Ultima 2V for
abt a year. Since I got my #9 128 (where are the new inline driver
for it adesk????) i haven't needed it for the business and the Matrox
card is in the system at home. Typical procrastination when the
problem is no longer urgent! The card used to work with the Vibrant
inline drivers prior to, I believe ver 1.0.3, now it locks just as
yours does. My BIOS is 789.8 I'll call Matrox abt a BIOS update and
let you know if it fixes the problem.
