I have heard others say that the print quality has been improved, but I am
STILL waiting for my 1.8 upgrade. I must be at the end of some long list
for bulk mail delivery since I received the last SL newsletter a couple of
weeks after everyone else! I did call SL today and order the $25 (NOT $150
as stated in another thread) upgrade. For $25 SL will send you the same
package you would get if you bought 1.8 new including a new much improved
manual. Since it is coming UPS it will probably be hear before the free
upgrade. When it gets here I'll run some tests and let you know.
BTW I know others have had bad experiences with SL, but they have always
been courteous and helpful to me. And I have found them easy to contact
through their BBS.
