If you have an internet connection that can use mount FTP sites you
might check the FTP site avalon.chinalake.navy.mil. This site seems
to be a depository for 3D models out on the net. There are a lot of
good military models at this site. (I guess it is our good tax
dollars at work since it is a military site! Hey they have got to do
something during peace time!)

Yes, the chinalake site is still operational but only for a short while more.
At least that's what I read on the vislab site.
