ATTN: NSA Hitachi SuperScan SUPREME 21 owners / users! In my search for a new 21" color monitor I have narrored the choices down to the NSA Hitachi SuperScan SUPREME 21 (.26mm) model CM2199MU-511 and the Superscan ELITE 21 (.28mm) model CM2198MU-513. I have located a "really sweet deal" (mail order) allowing me to purchase the SUPREME 21 at a fantastic price. The ELITE 21, a more popular and more "affordable" model is also available for $500 LESS. QUESTION: Even though the SUPREME 21 has .26mm dot pitch, I always see it rated LOWER than the (cheaper) ELITE 21 (.28mm). HAS ANYONE COMPARED THESE TWO SIDE BY SIDE ? <===< QUESTION: Are the "anti-glare" and "anti-reflective" screen coatings REALLY EFFECTIVE on these models. I have heard complaints about the "lesser" NSA models. <===< QUESTION: Do BOTH models have "ON-SCREEN" MENUs ?? <===< QUESTION: Has ANYONE experienced "quality" related problems or any FAILURES which was reason to have their monitors "returned" for service / repair? <====< QUESTION: If YOU had the chance to purchase ANOTHER 21" Color monitor, WOULD YOU PURCHASE ANOTHER SuperScan 21 (either Supreme OR Elite) ?? <===< ALL YOUR COMMENTS AND ANSWERS WOULD BE GREATFULLY APPRECIATED. I would hate to spend $2200 (or $1700) on a monitor and have it turn out to be a real "lemon" ! Thanks !!!! Wendell R. Reder Huntington, CT

We stock (and sell) both units. Perhaps you should do as we, buy one of each and find out for yourself. Alas, such are the woes of the 'mail-order' shopper. Hint: You get what you pay for.
