You're not making a fool of yourself. What you're doing is just enlightened
self-interest. I did exactly the same thing on the Mac forum when my assembly
language book came out. My publisher doesn't know how to do trade book
marketing, and I'm competing with a book from the Waite group. Believe me, I
understand.
