#OS9 and Mirage

Alpha Micros have special circutry to reverse the byte order in RAM, so that
the 68000 uses the PDP 11 format instead of the 68000 format. Not simple to
port to a normal 68000 computer. Alpha Micro is fighting a hostle takeover
attempt after a bad year. Not a bad DOS though. What is Mirage???
Mirage is an AMOS look-alike for 68000 based machines. I believe it came out
of england several years ago and was available for the Sage (now Stride)
Systems. I'm meeting with a guy this weekend to found out more about it so
i'll post more when i know more. I had thought of getting one of the Alpha
Desktop systems and using the Amiga as an intelligent terminal to it if I can't
get some other os for it.
