Has anybody an idea of what the loader does with the programs it loads?
Is their any documentation for the loader? Is the overlay supervisor part of
the loader?
Can a single hunk be scatter loaded into memory?
I have seen programs that make use of the data located just before the
first executable instruction. Does anyone know what is located here? Is it the
pointers that link the seperate segments together? I know that some kind of
segment list exists in memory since it is described in the AmigaDOS Technical
manual pg. 3-7. How can a user program locate the segment list for it's own
code. Is this is what is loaded just before the executable code?
Does the loader also handle the unloading of the program? Darrel
