#Amiga VS ST (Again?)
3 messages in this thread
I am not trying to bore you guys by leaving this message. I would like to say
that I have been following the Amiga and ST as far back as when the Amiga was
Lorraine. I have read tons of messages here and on Atari16, read all the
AmigaWorlds, Antics, Analogs, Amazing Computings, etc… I have seen the Amiga
ads, and the Atari ads. My personal and the only non-biased opinion I have is
that they are just as good as each other! Neither the ST nor Amiga can say that
they computer is better. But, CBM could make the Amiga better! If they would
put in a MIDI port, DMA port, 1meg of RAM, a better Monitor, and less buggy OS
and sell it for $1400 complete! Then they would have the better computer. On
the other hand if Atari added a Co-Processor, multitasking & better graphics &
sound and keep there price they would have the better computer! I am planning
on buying an Amiga soon, as soon as I have the money, and I allready own a
520ST. I would like to ask a few questions…. 1) How much does the complete
IBM emulation kit cost? 2) Are there any other game companies for the Amiga
besides ECA,
Activision & Infocom? 3) Are there plans for any other emualtors? 4) When
will the Amiga 2000 be available? 5) Are there any other periferals from Amiga
besides, the disk
drives, monitor, computer, & genlock??
Thanks In Advance,

I guess I don't really care who thinks whos computer is better,
it's all these defensive owners trying to prove they wern't the
one who made the mistake. What mistake? I hope both machines
succeed and get better.
The only question I have an answere for is about games. If you
ask Computer Express (here on compuserve) for a complete listing
of all amiga software they will leave one in your mailbox and
there are some titles there I haven't seen anywhere else (though
I don't know what they are) but they look like games.
