How can i get the directory(index) of a particular DL without having to expend several minutes(hours) for a particular file. Ed

Ed, Each DL has an index file that is updatted about every 3 months, they all are named INDEX.xxx and can be located quickly by BRO INDEX.* at the DL x ! prompt. You can get a complete listing of all the files in a DL by the SCAn command at the DL x ! prompt but that only gives you the file names, or you can also enter SCA /DES to get a full description of each file. Don't forget to SET PAGE OFF as soon as you go into the DL's so you don't have to enter a CR after each page. Don
