I am having a problem taping on my VCR. I connected the video out on the amiga to the video in on the VCR. I set the VCR to line and ran the Sinbad program. On playback, the image is unstable, it flickers almost like the hires of workbench. How would I correct this problem?

Get yourself a Genlock, and that should correct the problem

Many VCRs will show an unstable picture when fed with a picture that is not interlaced. The solution is to first run SETLACE (available in DL 10 in source form as SETLAC.C or in DL 9 in executable form as LACE.EXE), which puts the Amiga into interlaced mode. You can also use Preferences to set intelaced mode, but you wioll have to set it, SAVE preferences, _WAIT UNTIL WELL AFTER THE DISK LIGHT GOES OUT_, and then reboot. Regards, Larry.
