The CBM version of that IBM monitor is called a 76B-M13, sold currently only in Europe and maybe Canada. I'll try to get an IBM number; the IBM version is missing from the lab at the moment. Anyway, its a monochrome monitor accepting a digital input. I think there may be a strange sync polarity on one of the sync lines, but other than that it looks really good. The set these up for some kind of demo here — I don't know if that means anything in the way of what to expect in the future, but if a monitor like that and a little interface box were sold here, all those Atari folks could stop shouting about their monochrome mode. I don't know how realistic it would be to convert the interlaced mode to non-interlaced, as that kind of implys the ability to store two frames, skiggle them, then display them twice in a row at the high resolution. While doing the same with the corresponding colors. Certainly possible, but not cheap without some kind of trick involved. I'll think about what could be done. -Dave * Reply: 10231
