tim,
Hehehe…I love 'no comment' statements. Someone like me (police
officer by trade) can read an awful lot into them.
Don
Glad you enjoyed my comment. Or was that a non-comment? Read what you want
into it and cross your fingers. It's kinda 50/50 right now. (Don't quote
me!)
Tim,
Does 'I've heard a vague rumor that…might….' sound ok?
Don
Vague rumors are good! Almost borderline but ok. I suppose you saw the
rumor in Amazing Computing about a BBSer from Ashton-Tate visiting the local
BBS's. Must've been me. Also notice that they spelled my name wrong in
the AmigaWorld article for April. According to them my name is Tim Trumble.
I called them and said that I was gonna have to go out and change my name
legally. Gee, 100,000 copies. Oh well, they did a good job with the
article. And they will BE SURE to get it right on the next one.
Tim,
Have you ever thought of going into politics?
Doug
Nice shot! Politics. Having come from the entertainment industry before
working for Ashton-Tate has taught me a lot about playing corporate politics.
I usually try not to be a political player but in a corporate environment it
is sometimes necessary. I'd be much happier at my Ami at 2:00 in the morning
with a six pack of Jolt Cola and a cold Dominos pizza, coding my brains out
on a shoot-em-up game.
