#HARD DRIVE

Neil,
Before buying a hard drive, I would recommend expanding your memory. You
will want to partition your hard drive. And if you do, you lose another 60K
(or more) of memory. If you run FACC, more memory for buffers. A hard drive
without at least 1 Meg of ram can leave you without enough room for stuff you
used to do.

"You will want to partition your hard drive" — why? If you have HD, you have
very little use for FACC — a HDACC would be nice. I've got 3 floppies and 2
HDs on my system and about 99.5% of the time the only time a floppy gets
accessed is during bootup.
Or during backups, Steve. (grin)

Hehehe — yep! Something I do at least once a week! Saf-T-Net is great for
backups.
What's Saf-T-Net?
Saf-T-Net is a very nice Amiga HD backup utility. I highly recommend it.
Read SAFTNT.TXT in DL 2.
I just read the SAFTNT.TXT, Steve. Sounds exactly what the doctor ordered. I
call them up today and order a copy.
Khalid.
On the other hand, FaccIi does not help when backing up or restoring.
Regards, Larry.
