#Word Perfect Problems

H E L P !
I just received a new version (4.1 1/7/88) of Word Perfect today which I
was told would fix my problems. Well…
When I try to print the file PRINTER.TST which worked ok on the former
version the Amy locks up about two seconds after clicking "Send Go to
printer". The printer continues for several lines but the cursor won't move
or anything. When I issue the three-fingered salute Amy Gurus with
81000005.3332206F. Has anyone else seen this? Of course I will call the WP
people tomorrow as I see that they have Saturday hours but …
Any suggestions ( other than chucking the whole thing)?

George, Look on the LEARN: disk for a Readme file. There are some files you
have to move onto the WP: disk regarding printing. This *may* be related to
your problem.

Thanks but those files are already there. After much playing and Gurus I
have discovered that it only happens with the Diablo 620 printer. I still
have the old WP on disk in another directory and the 620 works with it! My
Gemini 10X works just fine (well maybe I haven't found everything yet.)
I discovered another bug last night. If I try to abort the current print job
the machine locks up every time but Gurus only sometimes with the same
message as the earlier print problem.
They sure are nice people on the phone and in the way that they quickly get
updates to you when you discover problems but right now I would settle for a
working print driver.
