Can anyone tell me the status of the 80286 Bridge card or the 68020
for the 2000. I am interested in finding out about the release dates. In
addition does anyone know if the new bridge card will be bundled with a 5 1/4
inch drive. If it is I may not buy it as I am using this space for a hard
drive, plus at work now all we use is 3 1/2 inch disks. Again any information
is appreciated.

Last I heard, CBM was still working on the 286 BridgeCard and was
awaiting some final testing and certification on the 68020 board. No release
dates for either product have been given.
I have no idea on whether a 5.25" drive will/won't come with any new
version of the Bridge, but suspect it will. If you don't need one, don't use
it. I'm sure you could sell it for about $50 or so, which is all you're
paying for it in the first place (if that much).
