It seems that the problem is having df2: but not df1:. Incidentally, a copy
made with Marauder II runs without the problem I described.
I see…. I have df0: only – df1 is a 40 track (transformer-flavoured) cbm
drive, normally not mounted, since transformer currently doesn't work.

When we tested DMCS on the 2000, we used the internal drive and a df2: and it
worked fine. Nothing bizarre.
