4) Does anyone know which part of the A1000 power supply leads to an
intolerable rattling noise in my A1000? I've taken my Amiga apart
twice and even replaced the fan but still it sometimes picks up this
annoying rattle. I'd be forever grateful if someone who has had
this problem could supply a solution. 5) After removing my disk
drives and lubricating the rails on which the heads
move, I should expect some reduction of drive noise, right?
Wrong, bulkhead. They're just as loud as ever, still ready to walk
off the side of my desk. So what gives, is this battle lost?
