#Bridgeboard sound??
3 messages in this thread
Hi Don,
I was reading some messages a while back and there were a few from you on how
to get sound out of the bridgeboard into the Amy….By reading between the
lines, I get the impression that a cable needs to be connected from the
bridgeboard to the inside serial connector on the amy side.
I want to get sound from my bridgeboard and would like to ask you a few
questions:
1. Where is the sound out on the bridgeboard located?? 2. The inside serial
port on the Amy is located just inside the exterior
serial port right?? 3. I would need to bring the sound in pin number 16 on
the inside serial
port right??(I am getting this from Amazing Computing V3.3 pg 68) 4. I
could use a single wire and two very small alligator clips…or is
there a better way?? 5. What gauge wire would I need to use??
I know my dealer should know these answers…they just changed management and
seem to be more concerned about making money right now(of course they have
also lost most of my future purchases).
Thanks for your help!!!!! The AmigaForum has been a big help to me…and I
thank everyone!!!!!!

Kevin,
The sound on the BridgeBoard is the 2 pins near the top of the board
(after installation) and towards the rear of the Amiga. The pins are all by
themselves…they're easy to spot.
The way I have it…you needto hook to pin #6 (not 16) on the
internal serial port. It is NOT the same as the external serial port.
Yes..it should work thou…the rearmost pin on the Bridge to the pin
on the internal serial port.
Don
Thanks for the info on the bridgeboard sound…I will let you know how it
comes out…..
