Do you give out your source code to everyone who buys a product from you? Anyways, we agree to disagree on the issue, or non-issue as it were.

What I do or don't do is not the issue here. But, yes, in my lifetime I've retailed two software items: a utility disk and an EPROM programmer with a software driver (both for another machine). BOTH packages came with complete assembly source. And as I've already mentioned, I'm a consultant… so most of the code I write goes out with source. Now that you've tried to turn it around (and failed… hehehe), I will remind you that the question you handily avoided remains unanswered: why would this bother anyone? WHAT IS WRONG WITH BEING ABLE TO LOOK AT THE SOURCE? The previous is a rhetorical question. I've never insisted on dragging anyone back into a discussion (or argument) that they were exiting. We agree to disagree. <Shaking hands in friendly manner, slapping GreG on the back> Let's go get a pizza.
