Thanks for the reply! We've been using Orcad in the EE department and it's very nice. For my own research program I was hoping to find something that would operate as a part of ACAD. I really like to keep as much of our graphic material as possible in ACAD. I find it really cuts down on retraining staff..Everyone knows ACAD because it's the first thing I have new employees learn. I'll check into the other package you recommend. If I'm still confused I'll give you a call.. Thanks again..Bob Golden

Bob-One thing I can vouch for is that AutoPCB uses the same Acad menus w/ a couple of additional picks in the layout & schematic capture cycle but I believe they walk you thru the routing part w/ their own menus. It was pretty easy and automagic. randy@avcom
