IS AUTODESK PLANNING ON RELEASING A NEW VERSION OF AUTOCAD TO TAKE ADVANTAGE
OF THE 80386 MICRO-PROCESSOR? IS IT POSSIBLE TO RECONSTRUCT THE MENU OF AEC
ARCH (VERSION 1.5/2.5) TO UTILIZE THE POP DOWN MENU OF AUTOCAD REL-9?
There are no announced plans for a 386-specific version of AutoCAD. The
current version runs quite briskly on 386 machines.
Yes, you can customize the AEC menu to include pop-down menus. Either create
your own, or you can cut-and-paste from the ACAD menu to the AEC menu.

AEC Menus…Yes indeed you can EDIT AEC-A.MNU to add the pull downs. Of
course this is dependant on your graphic cards ability to use them.
One of the easier ways to star this is to cut the top portion of the normal
ACAD.mnu (that contains all the pull down code) and to past it on top of the
AEC-A.mnu.
As for a 386 specific version, this is on the wish list.
