George, dimensions are drawn with the linetype of the layer it is being drawn
on, unless the LINETYPE: command was used to specify a certain linetype
regardless of layer. If you have a user-defined linetype, either draw your
dimensions on a layer that has been assigned that linetype (be sure LINETYPE:
is set to BYLAYER), or use the LINETYPE: command to specify that the
user-defined linetype will be used for all entities.
If you want the dimension line to be a different linetype than the extension
lines, that will require manual editing. =SM=
